Julian as the Baker in the Hunting of the Snark

1 April 1987 - Julian appears as the Baker in the Hunting of the Snark a musical written by Mike Batt based on the Lewis Carrol story at London's Royal Albert Hall. The evening, a musical benefit for the deaf, was attended by Prince Andrew's wife, Fergie and featured the London Symphony Orchestra.

Spring 1987- Following a much needed year-long break of water skiing in Barbados and snow skiing in Italy, Julian settled down in Montreux, Switzerland to begin writing for a new album. He started out alone and then was joined by Justin Clayton and new associate, guitarist John McCurry (John Waite, Cyndi Lauper). Julian spends off-hours boating on Lake Geneva and attends the world-famous International Music Festival in Montreaux.
