1967 - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is released including Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds While living in Weybridge, Julian brought home the watercolor drawing (pictured to the right) from Heath House Infants' School.  Julian recalls..., "I was trundled home from school and came walking up with one of my watercolor paintings. It was just a bunch of stars and this blonde girl I knew at school. And Dad said, 'What's this?' I said, 'It's Lucy in the sky!'"  This became the inspiration for the Beatles tune Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.  Later, another of Julian's drawings was used as the cover to the Beatles's Christmas Time is Here Again album.

1999 - Julian and fiancée, Lucy Bayliss, attend the opening of his mother and her childhood friend Phyllis McKenzie's (shown in the picture to the right from Reuters...) art exhibit, jokingly called "Lennon and McKenzie," at the KDK Gallery at 324 Portobello Road in London

1999 - The Express runs a headline Lennon Looks Set to Give Marriage a Chance stating that Julian is poised to tie the knot with stunning brunette, Lucy Bayliss, 21. They quote Julian as saying: "To be honest, Lucy and I feel married already."

1968 Recording of Good Night starts at EMI studios. Good Night was written by John for Julian but was sung only by Ringo accompanied by a 30 piece orchestra and choir of 4 girls and 4 boys.

1986 - Julian performs at the Civic Center in Ottawa, Ontario.

2000 - "Pop & Me" an independent documentary about fathers and sons done by father and son duo Richard and Chris Roe (shown to the right with Julian) begins showing in LA and NYC. 

The two spent 6 months traveling around the world interviewing 29 sets of father and sons in 26 countries. While in Monaco in 1996, they met up with Julian who discussed his lack of relationship with John.

1997 - Julian was listed as a confirmed guest  at "the largest rock-party of the year" in London in honor of former Rolling Stone, Ron Wood, for the inauguration his display of art in the Cafe de Paris.  Other guests included: Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Noel and Liam Gallagher, Richard Branson, Brad Pitt, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Pete Townshend, Jeff Beck, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Van Morrison, Jimmy Page, Stella McCartney, Patsy Kensit, John Hurt, Simon and Yasmin Bon, Matt Dillon, Sheryl Crow and British aristocracy: the Duchess Fergie, Lord Hanson, Sir David and Lady Frost, Lord and Lady Rothschild.

1986 - Julian performs at  Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

1992 - Julian and Justin attend the Genesis concert in Los Angeles.

1999 - Julian appears on the Conan O'Brien Show in New York City to be interviewed and perform  I Don't Wanna Know. - Transcript & Captures. This live version of is I Don't Wanna Know later released by Tower Records and Liquid Audio as a single on the net and acts as the official announcement of Julian's US tour. Julian then returns to London to prepare for the upcoming tour.

1969 - John, Yoko, Julian and Kyoko head off on a driving trip in John's Austin Maxi to Durness, Scotland to see John's Aunt Mater and Uncle Bert. During the visit John talks about suing Cynthia for custody of Julian. His Aunt does not think this is a good idea.
