I've had a lot of
inquiries as to why Julian did not appear on the "Come Together"
John Lennon Tribute on October 2nd... This past spring Julian
mentioned the possibility of performing in this concert in a newsletter
sent out to fans registered at his
official site.... However, at that time nothing definite was
known and Julian was unsure as to whether he would actually do
it. Obviously, for his own reasons he chose not to...
As far as the article in NYC Post in which Yoko said that Julian
could not attend due to a medical reason, I have not been told
that that is the case... I was told that Julian should be sending
out a newsletter at the end of the month possibly explaining his
absence as well as information on a new website he has had developed...

I'd like to thank
everyone who has sent me very warm messages over the past week
in light of the events of September 11, 2001. This is a very difficult
time for many here in the US and the kind emails which poured
in from fans from around the world concerned about me and my family
were very heartwarming... Thank you! It means a lot to me.
Being a military family we have many friends working in the Pentagon
and were very relieved when we learned that they were ok especially
since several worked in the wing hit by the plane. The days to
come will likely be stressful for myself and my family as the
Pentagon and the President decide the direction which will be
taken... In addition to the families, victim, and rescue workers
it would be nice if prayers/warm thoughts could be offered for
our Armed Forces and their families which it seems will be called
upon in the days ahead in the fight against terrorism and in efforts
to protect our country.
I've put a photo I took of Julian in NYC up on the main page here
and also at the Yahoo Club by request of Jimmy who calls NYC his
home despite not living there at the moment... condolences to
you Jimmy I know it is hard to see your home in its current state.
There is one song by Julian which I'm sure MANY of you are not
aware of as it was only released in Japan back in 1993. It is
called "Children
of the World" - "Together
we can stop the earth from crying / Right now, let's start
trying / Children of the world unite / To make a better world
/ For you and me" I wish there were a way for all
to hear this beautiful song which is hard considering it is the
rarest of all of Julian's released songs... for now you will just
have to **read the lyrics**
I will try to continue making the chats each Wednesday at
the Yahoo club and play the song over the voice option for those

Julian is on the cover and there is
a 5 page interview in the July/August/September 2001 edition
of VIVA magazine... I really don't know much more at this
time but will post more information as soon as I get my copy...

I've finally posted some work I've been
doing on the Discography...
It has a completely different look and all the singles are on
one page now... I still need to work on each of the individual
singles' pages and also have NUMEROUS items to add. For now the
Discography and Collector Corner are one and of the same as well...

Sorry no updates for
a while... June is proving to be a very busy month and I haven't
had much time to think let alone do any work on the sites I run...
Hopefully things will calm down a bit in July... For now I have
updated the history for the week... I have all of June complied
as I did it last month so I will try to at least get that up each

was 3 years ago today that Hey Jules first debuted on the net...

I've received a few
emails from people asking about an invitation they received to
a new Julian Lennon intranet on the web. The Julian Lennon intranet
is a site started by a fan and is NOT official.
Julian recently sent
out an email via the announce list on the official site JulianLennon.com
stating that he had purchased a vacation home in the Mediterranean
last year and spent the entire year remodeling it... Now he is
focusing on his music... He is putting in a studio at his home
and is looking for musicians and producers for his next album...
Julian has also recorded the Beatles' "Blackbird" for
an upcoming tribute to Linda McCartney and will be recording Kevin
Gilbert's "Things She Said" for an upcoming tribute
album for him... Beyond that Julian has been doing a lot of cooking
and gardening...
I'm still going through
and upgrading several sections... time will tell where this site
goes... I still have several fan contributions from Pauline, Nina,

Of course as soon as

There really hasn't
been much going on in regards to Julian in over a year nor does
there seam to be a new release in sight. I've been looking through
the site & there are several sections that I put together
while Julian was on tour promoting Photograph Smile that I'm not
fully happy with and so I'm going to take some time to go back
and do some upgrading to several sections... (Right now I'm working
on Through the Years - The Julian Lennon
Biography &
Discography, Lyrics & Memorabilia. ) I've also been
doing some work on my personal site
Calico Sky as well as remodeling around my house... life has
been busy....
I still plan on keeping the Week in History, Weekly Photos and
Monthly Featured Wallpaper... as far as the other featured items
I will feature what is new to the site not necessarily posted
at the beginning of each month... I currently have several fan
contributions from Pauline, Nina, Jen, Pat, & Hiromi which
will be the first to go up... Thank you to everyone who has sent
